This policy explains how the Qmanja Signage player app and portal handle
information. The app is a digital-signage player: it is installed on a screen
(a TV, TV box, phone, tablet or PC) and displays content that the screen’s owner configures
through the portal at manage.mediabridge.qmanja.solutions.
Summary
- We do not collect personal information about the people who view a screen.
- We do not use the camera, microphone or precise location.
- No third-party advertising and no third-party advertising/analytics SDKs.
- The app only sends what is needed to pair the screen, fetch its assigned content, and report
whether the screen is online and what it is playing.
Information we process
- Device identifier — a random ID generated on first run (stored on the device)
so a screen stays paired across restarts. Not linked to any personal identity; not your
hardware IMEI/serial.
- Pairing code — a short code shown on screen that you enter in the portal to
link the screen to your account.
- Connection / status data — whether the screen is online/offline, what is
currently playing, and standard request information (including IP address) that any internet
service receives in order to respond.
- Content configuration — the playlists, media, schedules, live links and
layouts you assign are downloaded to the device and cached for offline playback.
Information we do NOT collect
- No names, emails or phone numbers of viewers.
- No camera, microphone, photos or files from the device.
- No precise or background location.
- No advertising identifiers; no cross-app tracking.
App permissions
- Internet / Network state — required to download content from, and report
status to, our servers.
How we use the information
Only to: pair your screen, deliver the content you assigned, keep the screen running, and let you
see (in the portal) whether each screen is online and what it is playing. We do not
sell your data or use it for advertising.
Service providers
Our backend runs on reputable cloud infrastructure (for example Google Firebase for
authentication and data, and Amazon Web Services for hosting/delivery). They process data only to
operate the service on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments.
Data retention & deletion
Operational data (a screen’s online/offline history and proof-of-play records) is kept while
your account is active so you can view usage reports. Locally cached content is removed when the app
is uninstalled or its storage is cleared.
How to request deletion of your data:
- Email admin@qmanja.com from your account email address
with the subject “Delete my data”, or sign in to the portal and close your account.
- We delete your account, your screens, their device identifiers and associated history within
30 days of the request.
- Uninstalling the app removes its locally cached content from that device immediately.
Security
We use encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections between the app and our servers. No method of
transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
The app is a business tool for operating displays, is not directed to children, and we do not
knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a
new effective date.
